Dr. Ian Barron is board qualified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. He is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton. He then received his medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Barron completed a three year surgical residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. During his three year residency he performed more than 1,200 foot and ankle surgical procedures. He also was Chief Resident and he was presented with the “Podiatric Surgery Outstanding Resident Award.” In 2017 he was a part of a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, where he helped perform complex reconstructive surgeries on children with Clubfoot and other congenital deformities. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Barron is actively involved in resident education
